Jim Feldhan to Keynote at SESHA 27th Annual Symposium

Emerging Markets in Semiconductor Industry and Nanotechnology Impact

Phoenix, Arizona May 6, 2005 - Semico Research announced today that Jim Feldhan, President, will participate at the Semiconductor Environmental, Safety & Health Association’s (SESHA) 27th Annual Symposium and Exhibits in a keynote address. The conference is May 9-12, 2005, at the DoubleTree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. The event will focus on the effects technology has on the environment, the future of the semiconductor industry and the impact of nanotechnology. Mr. Feldhan’s talk, which is titled, “Hot Applications on the Horizon” will project the worldwide semiconductor forecast correlating current inventory issues and fab capacity utilization concerns. He will delve into hot applications in the end markets, which Semico refers to as the “fun and games” sector. “This leaves companies taking a hard look at how to combine their ‘bread and butter’ money makers while strategically repositioning themselves to take advantage of digital convergence trends.” He will also address the direction he foresees nanotechnology taking in the future and the challenges it will present. “The success of the semiconductor industry will be dependent on breaking the boundaries of traditional molecular physics,” said Feldhan.

Mr. Feldhan is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, May 10, at 9:30am.
