Tony Massimini to Speak at CES 2014 at the MEMS Conference Session, Wednesday January 8, 2014

Tony Massimini will be speaking on a panel on Day 2 of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.  Tony will be on a panel, “Wearables and MEMS Sensor Fusion” at 3:25PM in LVCC N261.  He will be talking about the market for Sensor Fusion and how it relates to the growing wearable market for health and fitness.  The MEMS Conference track will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 from 1PM to 5PM in room N261.

Semico Research sees MEMS Market Growing 70% by 2017

Thanks in large part to the growing smart phone and automotive markets, the MEMS market will generate almost $17 billion in revenues for 2013 and will increase 70% to over $28 billion by 2017. 

MAP Model Update

Semico Research's outlook for 2004 and 2005 is the classic good news/bad news scenario. The Phoenix-based semiconductor market research company sees 2004 on course to finish the year with a stellar growth rate of 31 percent, or $218.7 billion.

While growth in the overall semiconductor market is expected to slow from its historical 17 percent compound annual growth rate to something more like 10 percent, most of the industry has higher expectations for consumer electronics.
