Semico Annouces Outlook Event

Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2010 - Semico Research Corporation today announced that they are hosting the "Semico Outlook" executive forum, "Technology in the Palm of Your Hand," on March 2, 2010 at the Doubletree Hotel San Jose.

Semico Outlook is a day-long session of executive keynotes and panels modeled after the highly successful "Semico Summit." Over the years, Semico Summit built a reputation as the premier semiconductor industry executive forum.

This year's forum focuses on the strategies and technologies driving the next semiconductor growth cycle, fueled, according to Semico Research, by "palm based" applications such as netbooks, e-books, telematics and devices tapping into the always-on social network.

"Outlook" will feature keynote addresses from semiconductor industry notables Jack Harding, Chairman, President and CEO, eSilicon; Wally Rhines, Chairman and CEO, Mentor Graphics; Alex Shubat, President & CEO, Virage Logic; and Ana Hunter, Vice President, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. and many others.

The day-long session will also include three executive panels. "Technology for the Masses" will outline semiconductor technology that enables next-generation 3D-TV, hybrid and plug-in cars and the smart grid. "Infrastructure is Key" will define the infrastructure build-out and semiconductor technology that meet the demands of smart phones, wide area networks, virtualization, storage and cloud computing; and "Technology Everywhere, All the Time" that will explore the new functions consumers want and the new technologies that will meet them.

"Outlook 2010 builds on a Semico Research tradition of providing a platform where the executive thinkers and visionaries of the semiconductor industry can gather, exchange ideas and map the technical and market influences that will steer the direction of this critical industry," said Jim Feldhan, President, Semico Research Corp.

eSilicon is the "Outlook 2010" Gold Sponsor along with Altera Corporation, Global Foundries, Mentor Graphics and Samsung Semiconductor providing additional sponsorship support.

Technology executives and analysts can register for "Semico Outlook 2010" by going to www.semico.com (http://www.semico.com) and clicking on the "Technology in the Palm of Your Hand" icon.
