MAP Model

Perfectly coined, the Market Analysis and Planning Model (affectionately known as the MAP Model) tracks significant applications. Within each market, Semico gives you a market forecast, OEM market players, bill of materials with integration trends, the ASPs for the semiconductor components, a semiconductor TAM, and the wafer requirements. Primary research and close working relationships with semiconductor manufacturers allow Semico access to roadmaps on device and manufacturing technology.

Semico also tracks die sizes and yields for the semiconductor devices through its wafer demand model. This information is integrated into the MAP Model to track wafer demand by end market. Please check out our demo for greater depiction of this great product.

IPI Yearly Subscription

Semico Research developed the Inflection Point Indicator to assist in forecasting semiconductor revenues approximately two quarters in advance. IPI—combined with our bill-of-materials, end-market analysis and primary research—has helped Semico Research accurately forecast the industry ahead of all the other prognosticators.

Partners

Semico is proud to partner with the Electronic System Design (ESD) Alliance, formerly known as the EDA Consortium (EDAC).  The group has broadened its scope and will now address the larger design ecosystem, including semiconductor intellectual property (IP), embedded software, advanced packaging for system scaling and service companies that provide design resources.  The ESD Alliance hosts DAC, the Design Automation Conference, each year.  For more information, download this presentation or visit the ESD Alliance at www.esd-alliance.org.

SPIN

The SEMICO SPIN is a weekly e-mail newsletter. The Semico Spin presents Semico's analysts' views about the latest news and product announcements in the semiconductor industry and related areas. The Semico Spin is more than reporting, it is an analysis of the significance of the events covered. Semico analysts develop an expertise in the areas that they cover. That expertise is available in every Semico study, but The Semico Spin makes it available every week.
